Jérôme Junod

Born in 1979 to an Austrian mother and a Swiss father, Jérôme has a licence ès lettres in Philosophy, History and Oriental Studies from the University of Lausanne and a certificat supérieur in Piano from the Conservatoire de Lausanne. He studied Theatre Direction at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, directed in german and french in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Luxemburg, taught for seven years at the Max Reinhardt Seminar and currently at the Manufacture in Lausanne. Junod has also written a dozen of plays, translated Sophocles, Chekhov, Schiller and Schnitzler, and is regularly active as an advisor dramaturg.
